The DIY pathway is ideal for:
- Those who wish to develop a personal project without the constraints of a degree course.
- Artists, singer-songwriters, bands or producers who want a flexible, customised programme.
- Anyone who wants to keep their music education active year after year, freely deciding what to focus on and with whom to work.
The Do-It-Yourself is a renewable annual study plan for those who do not wish to enrol in the Bachelor of Arts or a three-year programme but want to build a flexible path tailored to their artistic, creative or professional needs.
How it works
With the DIY pathway, students are entitled to:
- 24 fully customisable individual lessons per year (instrument, singing, production, songwriting, arranging, vocal technique, etc.).
- The choice of 3 group subjects from the Academy’s regular courses (e.g. Music Theory, Music Business, Music History, Ensemble).
- Free access to the Academy’s practice rooms for study and rehearsal.
- Participation in all internal and external events organised during the academic year (concerts, masterclasses, workshops, recording sessions, etc.).
- Access to all additional experiences and learning activities offered by Florence Academy.
