Throughout the three years of the Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Music program, Florence Academy integrates UWS university courses with a series of annual practical workshops designed to complete students’ education and develop artistic, performance, and professional skills.

Each academic year includes four or more workshops that guide students in their musical growth, performance preparation, production of their own projects, and development of their artistic identity.

The central workshop is the Musical Workshop, directed by Serena Carradori, which allows students to experience the complete journey of a major live production. Through singing, acting, stage movement, and choral work, students participate in the creation of a structured production, as in the case of “THE BOYS OF PIGALLE”, a production freely inspired by the atmosphere of Moulin Rouge.

Alongside the musical, Florence Academy offers ensemble music and live performance preparation workshops, essential for learning to play in a group, take the stage, manage rehearsals, and participate in events organized throughout the year.

An important part of the program is also dedicated to music production in the studio, thanks to the collaboration with Golden Factory Recording Studio, where students can work on original songs, arrangements, recordings, and real recording projects.

The offering is completed by instrument, music theory, harmony, and ear training workshops, designed to strengthen the technical and musical skills necessary for every contemporary artist.

Throughout the year, short workshops and specialized sessions are also organized on current topics such as artificial intelligence applied to music, social media use, artistic marketing, song promotion, and new dynamics of the music industry.

The workshops therefore represent an essential part of the Florence Academy experience: a concrete space where students put into practice what they study, collaborate with each other, build real projects, and prepare for the professional world of music.
