HOW IT BEGAN
Florence Academy was founded in Florence in 2021 from an idea by Eric Buffat and Maurizio Tomberli, established professionals in the international music scene.
The Academy came to life with a clear and concrete vision: to create a center of higher education capable of combining teaching excellence, practical experience, and direct connection with the professional world.
Founded in a city that symbolizes art and culture, Florence Academy positions itself as an innovative institution, capable of surpassing traditional models of music education and offering students a truly profession-oriented path.
The project arose from the need to address a widespread issue in the music sector: the gap between academic training and professional placement.
Eric Buffat and Maurizio Tomberli have built an educational model designed to:
